Series 3 presents a clean, confidence-inspiring profile at address. Beneath the surface, a complex internal geometry is engineered with precise weight distribution — made possible through McLaren's Metal Injection Molding. This advanced process enables proprietary metal blends to be precisely formed, unlocking the McLaren Structural Mesh, optimizing mass while preserving strength and stability. The result is a performance cavity-back that moves and feels unlike anything else in its category.

McLaren Carbon-Fiber Bonnet

Lightweight Structure. Purposeful Placement.

The carbon-fiber bonnet along the back of each iron is a direct nod to McLaren's racing and automotive heritage — but it delivers far more than aesthetics. As an integrated structural component, it manages impact vibration to refine sound and feel, while housing a unique tungsten calibration weight system (10–17g) that achieves precise head weights without compromising the engineering properties underneath. Paired with a dedicated toe tungsten weight, mass is pulled perimeter-wide for maximum MOI and ball-speed retention on off-center strikes.

Heel Cut Sole Design

A More Stable Strike, Even When Delivery Isn't Perfect.

Engineered to deliver speed through the ground and relief where it matters most, the Series 3 sole geometry is built to reduce drag and control turf interaction through every phase of impact. Camber, leading edge curvature and heel cut relief work together to manage how the clubhead enters and exits the ground — maintaining speed while preventing excessive digging. The outcome is a sole design that suits a wider range of swing paths and conditions without sacrificing shotmaking versatility.
